On the sport beaches, to the right of the maritime pier in Timmendorfer Strand and between Haus des Kurgastes and Lender’s beach chair rentals in Niendorf, everyone can have a really sporty time from June to August. Sports on offer include yoga, boule, Nordic walking and beach volleyball. Every week there is a beach volleyball tournament for our holiday guests. Beach gymnastics is tailor-made to suit the holidaymakers’ needs, so you can choose between back exercises, gymnastics for shoulder and upper body, and exercises for tummy, legs and bottom. 

The cooperation between TSNT GmbH and the Hamburg Sportplatz agency, centred on beach volleyball icon Axel Hager, has really paid off. Christian Jaletzke and Axel Hager are particularly pleased to announce that they have been able to enlist world-class beach volleyball player Kjell Schneider as project manager for the sport beaches in Timmendorfer Strand and Niendorf. Kjell Schneider won bronze in the 2005 world-championships in Berlin, and will be directing the team of skilled trainers at the sport beaches. He will be assisted by Levke Spinger, beach volleyball U18 European champion in 2007 and U19 world champion in 2008.
