If you value flexibility and would like to stay mobile during the vacation, travelling by car ist the best choice.  And if you do come by car, you can park here free of charge and free of stress at more than 3 000 parking spaces. The parking guidance system in the town will help you to find the best of the five main parking lots for you.

Timmendorfer Strand: P1 Ice Skating Rink/Eis-Sporthalle - P2  Town centre/Zentrum - P3 Meadow road/Wiesenweg

Niendorf/Ostsee: P4 Birdpark - Port/Vogelpark - Hafen - P5 Indoor Swimming pool/Schwimmbad

All these parking lots are easily accessible on foot (distance to the beach: 16 - 27 yards).

There are also parking lots for which there is a charge near the beach and the town centre: 

EUR 0.50 for 30 minutes, EUR 1.00 for each additional hour.
